A Structural Grid Ceiling is the ideal solution for any application where large, heavy items need to be suspended in a server room, data center or technical room. Replacing custom-built, on-site structural support systems, such as strut, with a grid ceiling, can offer many distinct advantages. The grid system's inherent strength and flexibility make it the ideal choice for data center applications.
Data Center Containment Systems are generally of two types:
Cold Aisle Containment is a data center cooling strategy that isolates the cold air supply from the hot exhaust air. It creates a contained, controlled environment around the server racks to ensure efficient cooling and prevent hot and cold air from mixing.
A Hot Aisle Containment system encloses the hot exhaust side of the server racks, creating a contained hot aisle. This design features a ceiling-mounted hot air extraction system that pulls the hot air directly from the hot aisle, preventing it from mixing with the cold air.
Data center and Colocation Cages provide additional physical security for sensitive and critical infrastructure. By enclosing the servers and equipment within a cage, entry to the premises will be restricted, reducing the risk of theft, tampering, or unauthorized modifications.
